Summer is over and Bootie knows it's time for school -- but that doesn't mean you have to put your nose to the grindstone right away! Unlike some clubs and schools, Bootie encourages you to break dress codes, but you know you'll want to wear naughty school uniforms and letterman jackets even if it's not required, as well as all the clothes that schools banned, like mini skirts and shorts, gang attire, shirts with bad words, and tight or ripped jeans!

Resident DJs Mykill and Airsun will keep your minds off school all night long in the Main Room, while for the Midnight Mashup Show, Sylvia will take to the air on a trapeze high above the dance floor! Upstairs in Above DNA, it's Glitterazzi, with DJs Meikee Magnetic and Mixtress Shizaam spinning explosive electro, mashups, trap, and house. In the Lounge, H.Y.S.L. makes its return, calling out the messy ones, the celebrities on the downswing, and the WTF moments in everyone, embracing it all with a unique and powerful beat-laden, vocal-heavy sound that commands you to move, shake, and even fall out. Whether you werk or twerk, all that they ask is that you "Handle Your Shit, Lady!"

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past eight years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations. Mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party, it's a place where everyone is welcome. And with free mashup CDs given away like candy, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
